Asylum/Sanitarium Thriller
I have only seen this movie once on HBO back in 1994 (approximately).
A young woman (nurse/orderly) is dropped of by cab to a mental hospital, where she is weekend interviewing for a job. Unkown to her, the mental patients have killed off the staff, and have assumed the identities of the the staff with great accomplishment. Throughout the movie this detail is hinted upon, and then slowly revealed at the climax of the movie. In the end she gets away (ringing a small hand held bell seems to control them), and she is picked up by the same cabbie who asks her "How did the interview go"?
I have done exhaustive searches on IMDB and google, and can't get the name of this movie. It came out sometime before 1994, but probably not too much earlier, as I saw it on HBO around that time. I thought it starred Mary Steenburgen, but IMDB proves my memory incorrect.
