painful childhood haunts this movie
A temperament man. He has an elder brother who has died and a little sister who likes to write poems or novel but very depressed as well. He tries to continue his life by forgetting his painful childhood. His father and mother often get fight and his father likes to hit his mother and the children. The elder brother who has died, likes to bring a gun everywhere, and is very protective to his mom and his younger brother and sister. He dies in a war or something like that. The mother has been lived seperately from her husband, and takes the kids to a house. There, she leaves the man, the primary character.
In this movie, the man falls in love with a psychiatrist (a woman, played by Barbara Streisand, if I'm not mistaken). And she tries to help him to get out of his past and help his sister as well (who is now in the hospital and very depressed).
