Adapted from a novel by Elmore Leanord, Killshot is the story Tarantino was originally planning on adapting before deciding to do Rum Punch (which became Jackie Brown).

The film has been completed for a while but the only thing reported in terms of a release date is that it's supposed to come out sometime this year.

Killshot (2008)

It stars Tom Jane and Diane Lane as a couple who are forced to enter the Witness Protection Program after Lane witnesses "The Blackbird" Armand Degas (mob hitman played by the supreme bad ass Mickey Rourke) commit a murder. Knowing there's a witness out there, Degas promptly hunts the couple down.

The film was directed by John Madden (I) and written by Hossein Amini and co-stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Rosario Dawson.
