Default THE STRANGERS - what a terrifying movie!!

Okay, I didn't see this one posted. Has anyone heard much on the new horror flick 'The Strangers'. I saw an advanced screening of it and almost had to leave. No kidding. It was totally frightening, not to mention based on true events--which gave it another level of creepiness. I highly recommend it if you're a fan of horror or just want to see a movie that doesn't suck!

Here's the trailer: Alliance Films: Film Details

Yeah I've seen that trailer awhile back Emma. It does look good. I especially like the part where the dude with a lunch bag for a face just appeared there in the background heheh. Seems they are taking a bit of that from the original Halloween film.

I do aim to see it eventually. Glad to hear you left 'only' because you found it so frightening and not cause it sucked.

Even the trailer is scary. I don't do well with scary movies - I definitely won't be seeing this one.

Emma, have you ever watched the original 'Halloween' film by any chance? I think alot of horror films have used that as their guide now so to speak.

You sound like the kind of person who'd be terrified with that film. It's aged of course but still a very good film in my eyes. My favourtie of the genre.

I hope to catch 'The Strangers' this weekend sometime though.

So I watched this today and I'm not sure I liked the ending cause it made the movie way too simple.
