Default The Stone Angel
Okay guys, this one could be for you and your mom or your date! I just found out that Margaret Laurence’s classic THE STONE ANGEL is now a major movie starring Ellen Burstyn (my mom’s favorite actress ever!!). Anyone else hear about this? Apparently it’s opening May 9th. I think I’m going to take my mom for Mother’s Day. I remember reading THE STONE ANGEL in highschool and absolutely loving it! One of my favorite books of all time. Laurence’s writing really resonates with me. Anyway, just thought I’d pass this on.

Apparently it's getting a limited release in Canada. I'm amazed with the casting in it; Ellen Burstyn, Ellen Page... awesome.
