I thought it was a horrible idea when I heard it. The great thing about the original is that Charles Bronson is just a regular guy, he's not Rambo. If they were to remake it, they should just use another regular guy, not literally Rambo. It's the same reason that "Die Hard" was so great, it was just a normal guy.

Depends how it's made, and who directs it. I just saw Brave One, and it was a bore. Utterly DW ripoff and predictable. Better to get a director with the chops to put the audience in suspense. Stallone wont be a factor if it's done right.

Well if Stallone is the star you can forget about there being a credible director. I just can't see this working at all. Maybe if they got the anti-Stallone, someone like William H. Macy or just a more normal guy like Kurt Russell.

I find Stallon not a bad actor even though I hate him to be a main character in the new Rambo movie...Well regarding death wish remake I'm looking forward that they will make this remake much awaiting...

I'd rather not see Stallone here doing this remake but someone who you wouldn't think would fit the profile. That would make it more interesting for me anyways.

Yes, you got the idea there Ford. William H. Macey would be good. Kurt Russell I believe could very well be perfect. Brad Pitt maybe if he keeps the comedy out of it.

I'd rather see a remake of "The Mechanic" over "Death Wish" anyway. Heck, even "Death Hunt" would be better. They should only remake movies that can be improved on the original. In the case of the "Death Wish", they got it right the first time.

I've never watched 'Death Wish' full out. Please don't hurt me and yes, I'm full of shame.

I don't think I've ever seen the full version of it myself. I just used to see it on tv all the time as a kid. Back when movies like this, "Smokey & the Bandit" and "The Electric Horseman" were on every weekend.
