Default Aliens Versus Predator 3 (untitled)

Its probably too early to start this thread, but rather than have it convolute the AVPR thread I decided to give it its own home.

'When asked about a third film, Colin Strause says, "The way we kind of end this, we are kind of done here [on Earth] so the next one may be before ALIEN but definitely kind of needs to be more of a space epic." It sounds like they're definitely invested in another AVP film. Strause adds, "the next ones gotta be in space." They also haven't ruled out introducing more Alien versions and Predator types.'

For a long time now 'female' Predators have been the buzz, I certainly hope thats not part of the plan. I prefer to think of them as asexual beings rather than a hive or mating species. Rather like Louis Gossett Jnr's character in 'Enemy Mine' - those who have seen it will know what I mean.
They just mature to a point and give birth to offspring (somehow) - thats it.

The introduction of the 'pilot' (from ALIEN) species 'trading' Aliens and goods with Predators has also been discussed. Which I have to admit is a far more interesting concept. Identifying the 'pilot' as a mere trader or breeder from perhaps the Alien homeworld.

I've always wanted to do an AVP film when I read the comic, mine would be to track down where the Aliens came from and launch a SAFARI on the Alien's planet itself.

With the Japanese Woman in the comic, a muscle man like Dolph Lundgren and Sigourney Weaver.

And also the android BISHOP !!

Another AVP? Mmmmm.... I hope this movie would be a better one... I'm not satisfy on AVP 2.

I never really thought much about the sexuality of those beings but now that you mentioned it, it does kind of ruin the whole thing.

On the other hand, I can't imagine them giving birth either.

I know. It just seems wrong doesn't it? Unlike the Aliens, do we really need to know more about the Predator lifecycle? Its not exactly the most interesting subject and, to be honest, I really don't care and prefer the 'Pilot' plot I suggested earlier.
Someone did mention somewhere else that you can see a 'pilot' ship in the Predator outpost in AVPR, but after watching it three times in the cinema, I couldn't spot it. I doubt its there anyway.

Actually I am just a little interested, since I never really thought about it before. It's one of those things that you can't "unsee" D: The other night I was thinking, maybe they're created in stasis tubes or something, but that makes them seem so...artificial :/

Then I tried looking it up on Google but I only get articles about life cycles of real animals.

...Yeah, I think we should just not think about this anymore

Actually even though the ending suck in the requiem..it gave a mystery on how would they used the weapon that they got! And by saying that the mankind isn't yet prepared for that technology and that it would be use by someone else!! Please make this one a great movie

According to Wiki, the last film (AVP: Requiem) holds the record for the lowest earning Alien film in the domestic box office, and is the second lowest earning worldwide above Alien, excluding the effect of inflation.
