MILD SPOILERS BELOW...
Basicly, it's about a group of friends who have gathered for a farewell party for one of them who is leaving for a job promotion in Japan the next morning.
During this, the monster attacks.
The rest of the movie shows a smaller group trying to escape the city while the main guy wants to turn back and rescue the girl he loves who was trapped in her apartment building during the attack.
The video camera shows their adventure during this night.
It does have alot of similarities to Blair Witch but alot better IMO.
There is no typical plot where a hero saves the day and defeats a giant monster like every other monster movie has. Everything we see is what the characters see. You basicly have to put yourself in their situation of what it would be like for the average person caught up in something like this.
As jakjak said no real plot or climax, and that's really not a bad thing this time.
I recommend the movie to anyone who wants to live through a giant monster attack and tell about it.
