I was hoping the show would be good, but I didn't like the first episode. It was just too...corny. A big secret government lab and she just walks out of it? They give her bionics but not a gps unit? And if you can build a bionic body, why not do it entirely? It just had too many holes in logic in it. And the whole look of it was really bland. I think it needed more of an "Alias" feel to it, but without all the confusion.

So far I like it.
I don't miss the cheesy '70s sound effects at all.
Michelle Ryan is definately cute to look at and I even like 'Starbuck' playing the evil bionic woman (Escape's favorite Katee Sackhoff scene was in Haloween H2O when michael cut her head off by the way).;)

There are 2 things I do hope to see in this series if it lasts:
One - some characters named Steve Austin, Oscar Goldman, Barney Miller, and Rudy Wells to be introduced with new faces playing those characters from the original series. (appearantly with certain licenses owned by other parties this may not ever happen which would just be sad)
Two - some cameos by Lindsay Wagner and Lee Majors maybe playing some mother or father figures to Jamie. (have they said what happened to Jamie and her kid-sister's parents?)

This one's probably my favorite one of the new shows that have come out this fall so far (Reaper and Chuck go on that list too) and I hope it lasts for a few seasons at least.

Ohhhh did I ever! Mmmmmmmmmm.

I would have snagged a pic but that DVD seems to be eluding me for the moment and is taking all my fun away.

Which movie did she get her bionics in Ford? She's always cool to watch though.

LOL.
It comes on right before Heroes so how can anyone not watch it?
I've pretty much abandoned Prison Break for it this year.

I gave up on Prison Break about a third of the way through last season, its just to over top for me. But Chuck I actually find myself laughing at, plus its got Adam Baldwin in it, so I'm such a nerd for anything Firefly related no matter how obscure.

Bullock was in a tv movie back in 1989, "Bionic Showdown" I believe was the name. She and some guy got bionics, and it featured Steve Austin and Jamie Sommers too.

Oh ok. Wish I had caught it now. Was it Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner playing their original parts or some other actors playing their characters?

Yep, it was them. It was actually intended to be the pilot for a new series featuring Bullock as the star way back then before she was famous.
