Default Current UK TV Dramas

Just been watching some very well done and entertaining TV dramas which hail from the UK.

Jekyll stars James Nesbit
a modern take on the "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" story ... absolutely brilliant ... violent, suspensfull, comic and action packed. I particularly like the fact that the hero communicates to his alter ego via a mini tape recorder ... LOL one is constantly sick of asking where the other has parked the car. Nice subtle special effects and makeup to show the physical differences between the two states. This one is a 6 episode mini series.

Life on Mars
a modern cop Sam Tyler has a car accident and ends up in a coma ... however he also finds himself living in the 70's
Brilliantly paced and Sam is constantly confused with what exactly his reality is and frustrated dealing with his new police boss who has the typical smack a confession out of em' approach to policing ... great music (Bowie, T-Rex, Hawkwind) and great acting with a well written and witty script.

I noticed another Aussie has started threads on Dr. Who and Torchwood with alas little responce.

Just wondering if anyone else has seem them and what they think as in my opinion they are good tv and well worth watching
