Well it's a great show actually, so I suppose this is more of an appreciation thread. It's already been on for 3 seasons and now with the writers strike I'm not sure if it's going to make it back for a fourth. It was picked up in May before NBC even announced they're fall schedule so I'm pretty confident that it will be back. Unfortunately it wasn't suppose to start until January of next year, so now with the strike going in full swing it's hard to say when it will be on again.

I enjoyed the first 6-7 episodes but now its getting repetitive.

SPOILERS!!!!!!

Allison has psychic powers and gets her visions through dreams and ghosts speaking to her and many other ways. At the start of the season her husband is portrayed as believing her and supports her.

But as the series goes on, when allison wakes up from a prophetic dream the husband doubts her and dismisses the dreams as just dreams or that she is tired etc.
I found this to be a bit silly and it started to look like xfiles.

Although i am a huge fan of xfiles, scully remained a sceptic no matter how many ghosts, ufos and monsters she saw. It was almost as if the previous episodes didnt matter at all which irritated me.

Medium is still ok but just hope it moves forward. Good acting from patricia arquette.

Well I'll spoil it for ya a little, that does continue and Alison's processing of her visions continues much the same way as well, you'd think at some point she would just stop and take a breath and realize this is just her gifts way of communicating but no, she continues to go about it the hard way. Overall though its a very good show I hope you keep watching it, because once you get past her quirky way of dealing with her visions it's an entertaining show. The best part of the show is that they really love each other and they have a very good relationship and that really comes across more as the show continues. You got to put yourself in his shoes he lives with her and he lives with her visions everyday and sometimes she isn't really having a vision at all. So its interesting how he deals with her overall.

Btw, this is loosely based on a real person.

Spoilers for season 4 below, take your mouse and left click and hold and then scroll down to read the spoilers. Start here>>>

Medium Returns To Monday

NBC's supernatural drama Medium will return for a fourth season on Jan. 7 and will air in its original timeslot on Monday nights at 10 p.m., the network announced.

In season four, the lives of psychic Allison DuBois (Emmy winner Patricia Arquette) and her family are turned upside down after her abilities are publicly exposed, resulting in sweeping changes both professionally and personally. For the past three seasons, Allison has served as a part-time consultant to the district attorney's office in Phoenix, using her psychic abilities to solve violent and horrifying crimes that have mystified authorities, including her now-former boss D.A. Devalos (Miguel Sandoval) and others within the criminal justice system.

The new season will feature guest star Anjelica Huston, who joins the cast for a six-episode arc as Cynthia Keener, an investigator for a national firm called "Ameritips," who forms an unusual professional arrangement with Allison for her crime-solving abilities.

Jake Weber co-stars as Allison's exceptionally supportive husband Joe, who is left looking for work after recent traumatic events. Also returning in the new season are Sofia Vassilieva, Maria Lark and Madison Carabello, who play Allison's daughters, and David Cubitt as Detective Lee Scanlon.

Usually I'm into this kind of stuff, but, like 'Supernatural', I found it flat and tedious to be honest. Thats just me, but to a fault I guess I guage these shows unfairly against 'X Files' and 'Torchwood'.
