Default Smallville

I did a search but it seems there was never a Smallville thread here?

Anyways...there is now!

So far I really love season seven of the series.
They've introduced my favorite female superhero, the girl of steel (without the supercostume, of course).

Being the retardedly huge Supergirl fan that I am, I was seriously diggin' last night's episode of Smallville, "Kara" where we meet the mysterious girl from Krypton.

She's definately a smokin' hottie and not only can she fly but she can fly into space which is something even Clark can't do. Her scene above the Earth reminded me of the scene from Superman Returns where her cousin did the same thing.

Alot of fans seem to hate that fact and how everyone else from Krypton can fly except Clark (Chloe has bugged him about that a couple times too).

Course being new to Earth she isn't aware of some of her other powers that Clark has mastered like super-hearing which he has to teach her how to use so at least we now know that not all new Kryptonian arrivals will always be more powerful than Clark.

Her trip to the playground to find the baby Kal-El was pretty funny.

I like how she's so direct with everyone, though I'm sure Clark will teach her how to behave with others. She also really needs to stop calling him Kal-El in public. I can't wait for her and Martian Manhunter to meet. He mentioned in another episode that he worked with Jor-El on Krypton and maybe Kara met him back then?

It also seems that Lex may be over Lana (ugh...she blew up her own clone?) especially since he's now obsessed with the mysterious blonde girl who saved him.
I really hope they don't try a Lex/Kara romance thing here now. It was bad enough Lex went after Clark's ex but now his cousin?
He really deserves a beat-down if he tries that too.

And what's with Jor-El telling Clark not to trust her? There was a comic story recently where false memories made Supergirl believe she was sent to Earth to kill baby Kal-El and not look after him so I would hope the show's writers are going to be a little more original than to repeat that one.

The best news to me is that Kara's not just a guest star but has joined the cast this season so I'll be treated to some Supergirl action every week now.

Trying to download this right now. As usual I missed and forgot to tape it when it came on.

Ok, dumbass me thought it was the Season Opener you were talking about. How many have they shown so far anyways? I just finished watching episode one so I'll talk about that right now.

How did that piece of steel go through Bizarro's body if he's as strong as Superman. Is it the yellow sun of our solar system? If so he shouldn't have been that strong to fight him to begin with since he's not always surrounded by Kryptonite.

Lots of dead corpses in this. Surprised me actually.

What was the point of burning that guy with his heat vision. Because he finds that stuff fun as opposed to the real Clark?

I like how he was using his x-ray vision to scope Lois out too lol. Funny scene there.

This line was good too: "this guy can fly......Clark you gotta get on that one" heheh. And she's right too cause it seems if anyone should be able to do that by now it would be him.

What's up with Chloe anyways? I missed alot of last season. How did she bring Lois back to life and how did she come back to life in the morgue as well?

I find her annoying as hell in the show with her constant doubts about Clark but she's apparently a very nice girl in real life as my buddy would attest to. He worked on set with her and got to observe her pesonality to the fans a couple times. Always would say a nice friendly hi at least.

Well given that Lana knows all about Clark's powers now, maybe she'll be better this season. I thought Supergirl would be awful, but that was a good episode for her.

What's up with that Bracelet Supergirl was putting on in the first episode? For a second there I was thinking she was Wonder Woman. Only knew she wasn't cause Scifiguy mentioned it was her up above there for the second episode.

You'll see where it comes in during the second episode.
