As cool as the original was, it also had pretty cheesey dialogue.
If they keep the coolness, throw away the cheddar and keep away from the ideas that made the last Team Knight Rider series (Voltron rejects) so abominable, they have my blessing.

Didn't KITT get downgraded to a 57 Chevy and then upgraded to a Pontiac prototype in a tv movie years ago?
