So do you do squats? How much do you squat? My legs are fairly strong for someone who hasn't worked them as consistently as I do with my other body parts.

Do you go to a gym with any grunting guys? Mine is co-ed, and there is one guy in particular whose form is horrible when he does bench presses because he lifts way too much weight. He grunts and groans and sounds like he's having sex. It's actually very funny.
Occasionally you hear the juice monkey's grunt. Funny you should say that about that dude because there is a girl who does that exact same thing. You can hear her moan from one end of the gym to the other. We just roll our eyes cause it's obviously intentional.

Still hurts. I did the biceps two weeks ago and no change. Pissing me off actually. A couple people recommended me some type of joint and cartilage builder. I need to find the names of them again.

I don't agree with the no pain no gain philosophy. If you do something that hurts, you should stop. It's painful because something's wrong and sometimes you just have to let it heal. Listen to Doctor Claire. (just my opinion)
Yep, makes sense. Different types of pain too. I find it easy to tell between a good pain and a bad one and my arm is definitely a bad one.

My philosophy is you work till you stimulate enough to cause growth. Seems to work for me though for the most part nowadays, I only go to keep my strength and not get any bigger.

No, I've never felt comfortable having the weight of a barbell on my shoulders (probably makes no sense--since I felt that way even before I had a problem with my shoulder---). I really like the leg press machine and calf raise machine ( don't remember the exact name)

Do you think she's hoping to get the guys excited? I swear, I see some women at the gym in full makeup with every hair in place and they only do some machines-no cardio, because then they'd sweat and mess up their makeup. Personally I go to the gym with no makeup with my hair in a ponytail and perspire as much as some of the guys. I don't go there to look pretty.

What do you mean? Some kind of nutritional supplements? Have you tried heat and/or cold packs? If your arm hurts when you're not working out, that's definitely not good.

Those are the names heheh. Calf Raise machine and Leg Press Machine. How many plates do you throw on for the leg presses? I think my max was 8 a-side though if I worked harder on them, I'd have long surpassed that level by now since this was like 6 years ago and not long after I started really working my legs.

I think some do. I always see their eyes checking her out now and then as she walks by. She doesn't moan all the time though, only at times.

Yeah, there was a girl famous for that there. She'd go for 2 hours and actually work out for 10 minutes. That doesn't really bother me. Up to them how they wish to spend their money. But if too much of that is going on, some people find it tough getting themselves up during a work out watching the slack asses every where heheh.

I think one of them is called 'Shark Cartilage' supplement. You can buy it anywhere from what I've been told.

No, I don't usually do the hot/cold ice packs. I used to play a lot of baseball and messed up my arm by not doing that enough. Just didn't take care of it properly.

And yeah, it hurts right under that tendon if you do a half flex with the bicep. If I press down on it, I can feel the pain. If I lift something fairly heavy, it starts to hurt again.

I'm not close to that many plates. I'm just trying to maintain and maybe gain some strength.

I've heard of it. Shark Cartliage is supposed to be good for your joints.

You need to take better care of yourself.

I just bought some so hopefully it helps. Supposed to take a bit to start noticing though. A couple weeks I believe.

Good luck with it, hope it helps. Until then you should probably be careful with your arm.

Thanks Claire. Yeah I may lay off it again for awhile.

I'm also thinking about switching to those Leg Presses too. Easier on the back than the Squats where the weight comes down on your spine. I swear I lost an inch off my height because of it lol.

Yeah, you can really hurt your back doing squats. Do you wear a weight lifting belt to protect it when you do squats? I hope so.
