Well, the problem id that I may really like certain songs, but at times can't remember or in many cases don't even know, who performs them.

My fave film Bowie has been is has to be 'Labyrinth'. He was born for that role. His persona and style of theatrical acting suits the film to a tee.
A close second and third would be 'Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence' and 'Linguini Incident', where he flexes his romantic comedy muscles quite well.
