Default John Rambo

Hey yall, guess what...there's another Rambo movie comin out starring the one and only Sylvester Stallone. I just watched the trailer and I have to say that it actually looks pretty good. I'm always glad to see Stallone in another movie because I'm a big fan of his work. Anyway, I'm postin a link to the Red Band Trailer for anyone who wants to watch it. Just a little FYI for you though...This is a RED BAND TRAILER meaning that it is an unrated trailer and is therefore VERY GRAPHIC. The trailer isn't really that shocking but you can expect to see some serious blood and guts in this trailer so if you're not into that kind of thing you shouldn't watch it. Here it is.

i think Sly is too old to this but i guess it's better that way because as far as what ive seen, no actor can do good with that role in the movie

Well, I found out about the trailer on the Jo Blo's Trailer site but the trailer that they have a link for takes a while to load. I didn't feel like waitin so I googled John Rambo and that's how I found it. The link on the Jo Blo site I think is for the rated version so there won't be all the blood and guts in that one, that is if you feel like waitin for it to load. Anyway, just go to google and there should be plenty of sites that have it.

I've seen the trailer now, and yea, just as I remember Sylvester in the other films of his.. as J. Rambo. Should be great for those who loved the first films, but is the film-series getting any new fans by seeing this new one? Nah, doubt it. Those who didn't like it then, won't like it now, IMO... On the other hand there will probably be people who see the new one and 'goes back' to check out the old Rambo films.. Well there u go.

Rambo was every child's hero back in the day... It's good to hear he's back. But I think Sylvester Stallone is quite old for the part. And besides, there's a lot of young and fresh actors to choose from.

On that count, I have to 'put my foot down'.. I think it would be weird seeing somebody else in the role of John Rambo, even if Sylvester Stallone is like 85 years old.. Any thoughts about this? Would Vin Diesel do a great job as John Rambo, yea, probably, but he wouldn't be like the John Rambo, u know?

I would've rather seen something more along the lines of "First Blood", which to this day is still a good action movie. But this just looks silly. I couldn't help but think that Charlie Sheen or Weird Al Yankovic were going to pop up.
