Default Bangkok Dangerous

I love Nick Cage and this one to me looks very interesting.

From Quicktime: The life of an anonymous assassin takes an unexpected turn when he travels to Thailand to complete a series of contract killings. Joe (Nicolas Cage), a remorseless hitman, is in Bangkok to execute four enemies of a ruthless crime boss named Surat. He hires Kong (Shahkrit Yamnarm), a street punk and pickpocket, to run errands for him with the intention of covering his tracks by killing him at the end of the assignment. Strangely, Joe, the ultimate lone wolf, instead finds himself mentoring the young man while simultaneously being drawn into a tentative romance with a local shop girl. As he falls further under the sway of Bangkok’s intoxicating beauty, Joe begins to question his isolated existence and let down his guard …just as Surat decides it’s time to clean house.

I really like Cage too, but I've passed on a lot of his recent movies. I thought the trailer looked pretty good though. It's one I'd think about seeing in the theater. It kind of reminded me of "The Professional". There's a lot of hitmen going soft these days.

The Professional I didn't mind though I wasn't too happy with the ending as is most of the times with me and movies.

Is it out already? I wonder if they gonna screen it here.
Plenty of films that don't make it to the theaters here depending only on box office records?

No it's coming out August 22 I think. And yes, I'm sure it will be a world wide release. Looks the type and Nicolas Cage's films usually have large releases as far as I know.

Cool

Nicolas Cage is undoubtedly an excellent actor. I haven't watched this flick of his but by going through the synopsis I would definitely want too. This man has given us The Rock, Face-off ,to name a few amongst many others.

And don't forget 'Snake Eyes' which to me is a film not talked about much but kicked ass.
