The Happening
Apple - Trailers - The Happening
I like the trailer, it reminds me a lot of "Signs". That part with the people falling gave me chills.

That's funny cause I was thinking about that part actually just the other day. I mean how they were falling looked so damn odd and freaky. I was pondering on how some of these directors can foresee this. Like I'm sure there are many ways to fall but how the hell can someone come up with such a strange idea to want to have them fall like that in the first place? That alone takes talent right there.
And do you think they were committing suicide?

It could be, or maybe that sound that seems to be hurting everyone kind of made them walk off the scaffolding without knowing what they were doing? It was a weird shot. It looked like one of them was walking as he was falling, like he expected a floor to be there. Shyamalan definitely has a gift for making the most plain things seem creepy.

I just watched it again and you mean the last guy to fall right. He is moving his legs there I agree. Not sure if that's walking or not though. Looks a bit odd. It's the guy on the right who is falling the freakiest to me cause he's falling sidways and doesnt seem to flinch heheh.

It was the guy in the middle, towards the top of the screen. But yeah, the guy on the right is the freakiest. And what the hell is Mark Wahlberg looking for in that one scene? His eyes are darting all over the place!

Ok yeah I meant the top left not right but he's in the middle too just a bit late.

To me it appears he's listening for something. Perhaps the dead silence he's noticing? I dunno. I have a tough time buying him as a teacher though. I'll get used to it I'm sure.

He was a teacher in "Invincible" too!
I like Mark, I just hope he doesn't whisper through this whole movie as he's prone to do.

Huh, I thought he was a bartender? If he was I don't recall it showing him teach.

Yeah he does get a little low with the vocals. As a matter of fact, I have a tough time remembering him ever yell in a film.

Well he was a substitute teacher, but got laid off at the begining of the movie and had to pick up some extra hours at his night job as a bartender. 2 Points. Oops, wrong thread.
