Default Top 20: Most Disturbing Films

I will post here my list of the most disturbing films ever made. I have spent quite some time putting together this list because I didn't just want to take into account only my personal opinion on the matter.
It would be interesting if some of you also posted here their top 20 list of most disturbing films.

What I have taken into account: the overall impact of the film - i.e. not just gore and scary scenes, but the overall "feel" of the films.

SO...here is the list:

20. Nightmare on Elm's Street
19. The Omen
18. The Exorcist
17. Evil Dead
16. Friday the 13th
15. The Brood
14. Hostel
13. Invasion of the Body Snatchers
12. The Shining
11. Pet Sematary
10. The Thing
9. Ichi the Killer
8. Eraiserhead
7. Ju-On
6. August Underground
5. Murder-Set-Pieces
4. Ringu
3. Salo: 120 Days of Sodome
2. Cannibal Holocaust
1. August Underground's Mordum

Please note that I have not included short films. Thus I have not included films like Guineapig and Aftermath

disturbing? Perhaps you define disturbing differently than I do. i would define it as something that shakes me up, haunts me, something I can't get out of my mind in an unpleasant way. Doesn't always have to be horror.

Dancer in the Dark
American Psycho
28 Weeks Later
The Ring
The Blair Witch Project
One Flew Over the CooCoo's Nest
The Wall

Duran Duran's Video for "Wild Boys" hehe

The Ringis really creepy... Maybe the most creepy of all horror movies.

Others:
Ju On
Pink Floyd The Wall-- psycho movie... really make me sick, not because I hate it. It is really psycho...

Great list. Nice to see Cannibal Holocaust up there as most have never heard of that movie and would probably know Blair Witch Project (which by the way ripped Cannibal off completely). What about Nosferatu though? I found that film by Herzog pretty disturbing.
