10-12 years ago (i think !) I saw a movie but now the name and the stars' names escape me (yes I am over 50). Here's the plot (I hope it will ring a few bells).
A family moves house to a small country town. Wife, 2 kids and their dog. The Dad's a Vet (animal kind). During their settling-in it becomes apparent there's a group of local hot rod guy's enjoy terrorising some of the locals while enjoying the protection of their rich parents. When the Vet's own dog is killed and his family is threatened he visit's the local sheriff, with no result then finally he visits each of the offender's homes announcing his name and phone number, re-arrangers the body panels, light's, guards on the hot rods and garden settings etc., at every house with a base ball bat.
(Based on a true story and at the time of film release 3-5 years on, NO charger's had been laid against the Vet).
Action Movie with a feel good ending.
