Such a great movie. It still holds up in my opinon today as a great sci-fi/action/thriller. It's a shame that all we are left with nowadays are lame AVP movies. Boo.
I agree, ALIENS, like the first PREDATOR which I watched last night again, is timeless and thoroughly entertaining.

At least ALIEN got a good sequel. I think the main reason Pred2 failed was that, unlike ALIENS, they didn't succeed in setting the film in a convincing future environment. Why Pred2 was set in 1997 with LA looking like a Columbian warzone, instead of a regular crime ridden heatwave in 1990 I'll never understand.

Aliens, though pure sci-fi, was convincingly realistic. The technology, the vehicles and machinery all semmed very familiar and natural evolutions of what exists today.

I should watch it soon, it's been a long time since the last time I watched it.

Yea.

Yes, 'your' film. I rented it from Netflix. I didn't like it enough to want to buy it (no offense). What are some really good Norwegian movies?

Non taken
Really good Norwegian movies? Uhm, no..
Uhm, Vinterkyss (Kissed by winter) is pretty good.
Svidd neger is another, a weird film, I like it.
Uno is kinda good, so is Uro, those last two are pretty alike.

I'm sure there are more, not that many though, good films made in Norway

I just watched it last night. I thought it was good also, but I did like the first one best. Just my opinion.

Tonight I watched The Reaping. I remember when it first came out all the reviews I read were bad. I didn't think it was a bad movie, but not all that good either. 6/10

Really?

Anyway, I just watched "The DaVinci Code" again. An interesting movie. And not offensive to me since I don't believe in religion. One thing struck me though: if the story about the Knights Templar being hunted down and killed at the same time is true, it reminds me of the slaying of the Jedi's in "Revenge of the Sith". I wonder if that's where Lucas got the idea? There's probably been tons written about it, I just never read Star Wars stuff myself.
