I watched Protege last night. A chinese movie which tells about drug addicts and a spy police who is much involved with the cases (He deals with a drug producer, a female drug addict he loves). In the end he knows about the reason why people are addicted to drugs, and he is in a fight of drug temptation with the emptiness he feels toward his job. This is a very good moral issue movie. 9/10 to make me think deeper.
I am amazed with the story of Protege, I'm looking forward to see it...Anyway regarding the Geisha they are like professional prostitute I guess, being trained in any kind of art including entertaining people in different way...

Yeah that's the part. First I figured no way are they going to catch him cause too early in the movie. I thought he'd be undercover for most of the film. Then it all went down fast. I loved it.

Yeah, they are more professional and legal in some ways. I think the difference between prostitutes and geishas is that prostitutes do not have self-honor, while geishas still have it, maybe...

I agree with that...Geisha has an honor but sometimes they ruin it in some way...

Wait 'till You're Older-- a chinese movie about a little boy whose mother has died, and his father married once again. He hated his new mother and thought that his father and the woman is the reason for her mother's death. He often runaways from home to his old house. One day, after he's chased away by the new mother, a mysterious man brings a chemical potion, and the boy drops it. The potion soaks his hand, and the next morning he turns out to be an adult. Day after day he becomes older, and finally becomes an old man. He misses his father very much and realizes that he ruins the family. Finally, he shows himself and apologizes (It's when he has only one day left to live).

A very touching and inspiring drama movie with a great message. (9/10).

I missed the reason at first so had to go back and check to find out, but:

*spoilers for White Noise 2*

Why do you think he intentionally made that ambulance crash near the end?

As for me, I recently watched 'The Brave One' starring Jodie Foster as sort of a female version of Death Wish.

*Spoilers for The Brave One*

The thing is, her first few kills really were defensive ones so if she had been caught nothing would have happened to her I'm sure.

Terrence Howard is lately becoming a favorite actor of mine. Love his raspy voice. His composure in all his films seems unique as well.

Over all it was an OK film but nothing special outside of the excellent acting skills by both actors. I'm not sure I liked the ending though. Ok he let her kill that last guy but then what. Is she going to be a vigilante now for the rest of her life since her last words as she was walking away were along the lines of she's no longer the person she was. First I thought she'd have some kind of closure there but it seems that wasn't the case.
