The Client is great! However, my favorites are The Firm, Pelican Brief, and The Brethren. I think John Grisham is a very humorous author. I always like his jokes in his novels. It makes me enjoy the reading.

Vonnegut and Steinbeck in novels; Nick Tosches, Greil Marcus and Peter Guralnik in music; and Neil Gaman and Brian Michael-Bendis in Graphic Novels. I dug Hitchhiker's Guide, too, and Douglas Adams' 'Last Chance To See.' I was really sad he passed so early. But I'd trade them all for a chance to meet Vonnegut, I just loved how that man's mind worked and how easily he translated those thoughts to the page. I even went to Dresden when I was in Europe to visit the city that shaped so much of his life.
