Two years ago Sony offered to buy the tech behind HD DVD, but it didn't work. Had this happened you would have seen a much stronger next gen disc with the advantages of both formats. However, now the world has lost the plus points of HD DVD and is stuck with blu ray. Which isn't a terrible things, it's just not as good as it can be.

Although they have started to introduce FLAC format audio onto blu ray which is just amazing!

Dvd I bought today...Hot Shots!

Just bought Rambo on Blu Ray. Great film. Even though Stallone is older he still did a great job.

I'm saving jumper for blu-ray when I eventually get it. A few I'm holding off on. The special f/x films anyways.

I just got this today for 5 bucks.
