Hey Claire. Yeah I just finished watching it and will give a short review in this thread later on today when I get home today. No time at the moment.

Plot: When Commissaire Pierre Niemans (Jean Reno), France's leading serial killer investigator, is called to investigate a grisly murder, he enters a world of secrets, lies and unthinkable horrors. The dead, whose hands and eyes have been removed, are clues to a terrible tradition the killer can no longer bear. Each murder means something more; each victim, a guilty conspirator in a grand immoral experiment. Filled with blood-chilling suspense, twisted turns and breathtaking locations, this tense thriller has the style, action and intelligence to keep you wondering what's really happening right up until the shocking conclusion.

I picked up "Live Free or Die Hard". Not the best of the series, but one of the most fun movies all year. I'll have to watch it during this upcoming four-day weekend.
I did check out the special features though. The trailers on the second disc are odd. They have the trailer for "Hitman" and at the end it says "coming soon to dvd". Guess they don't have too much faith in it's theatrical release being too big, huh? Also, they have the trailer for "Last of the Mohicans". I was hoping that this was for the release of the theatrical cut on dvd or blu ray, since only the director's cut is on dvd now. But no, it was the actual theatrical trailer. It was full screen, and so grainy it looks like they got it from a VHS tape.

Weird that it would be so grainy.
I bought these 3 brand spanking new for only 3.97 each. Yay me! And I haven't seen any yet either.

I picked up "Die Hard" on blu ray today. I just couldn't not get it. I probably would have bought a copy of it on beta if I'd have seen it today.
About the PS3's and backwards compatibility, I just read this in Game Informer:
The new 40GB PS3's will no longer have backwards compatibility, SD/Memory Stick/Compact Flash ports and their USB ports will be knocked down from 4 to 2.
The older 60GB PS3's may still be available in stores, but are no longer being manufactured. They do have backwards compatibility.
In any case, it's really not an issue if you hang onto your old PS2. Just thought I'd pass this on for any Christmas shoppers out there.

I was surprised by that too. That isn't going to help the already crappy sales by Sony's system by any means. Someone I know just got the 60 gb system because of this. It was being sold for the same amount for the 40 too. There is also the 80 gb system but not sure if that has reverse compatibility like that 60.

Apparently it's helped out overseas sales already. I find it hard to go back and play old games anyway. If I ever do play any it's usually on the NES or N64. Old Playstation games don't really factor in because they make sequels to all the good ones. Aren't they stopping the patches for the old XBOX games too? I never play online so I could never get a patch to play any old XBOX games on my 360 anyway. I'm lucky if I don't get a "this disc is unreadable" error on my 360 as it is!
