I've never been a huge book fan so I'd be the last to ask. Do you ever read Romance Novels Summer? I remember my mother used to love reading those.

The last book that I liked was "State of Fear" by Michael Crichton.

I really love reading novels...

What kind of novel do you want?

If you like fantasy novel like Harry Potter, I recommend you to read Spiderwick chronicles, or Eragon maybe... (in the case of Eragon, I like the novel more than the movie).

Usually I read suspense, philosophical, or horror novel. These are my favorites so far:

Saving Fish From Drowning
(Amy Tan) - philosophical and adventure novel. You can read the review and the comment here: Ah... Ah... Ah... Never Mind. - Amy Tan - Saving Fish from Drowning - Epinions.com

Winter and Night
(S.J Rozan) - detective novel. Read the summary here: Review of WINTER AND NIGHT by S.J. Rozan

Coraline
(Neil Gaiman) - fantasy novel. Read the summary and comment here:
Review: Neil Gaiman's Coraline, reviewed by Tim Pratt

If you are into a smart cyberpunk novel that explores the concept of memes as a virus ... have a go at "Snow Crash" by Neal Stephenson.

If you like vampires in a modern world setting and add human who exhibit paranormal abilities try the "Necroscope" series by Brian Lumley.

Peter F. Hamilton is a great writer of the scifi genre ... an epic space opera trilogy is beginning with "Reality Disfunction" or his psi-detective series starting with "Mindstar Rising"

I'm reading Atonement. If you've seen the movie, you know it's excellent. The book is fantastic as well.

I highly recommend The Hot Zone by Richard Preston. I had to read this book for my 10th grade biology class. I thought it was going to be dumb, but it turned out to be one of my favorite books. It is a terrifying true story about an Ebola outbreak in Washington D.C. It's extremely graphic, but worth it.
