Default Transformers DVD

Wow, it seems like all the stores are having their own exclusives for this.

Wal Mart has a pretty impressive deal, with an extra dvd added in: The Wal-Mart Transformers DVD Exclusive! - Superhero Hype!

And Best Buy, Target and Circuit City have their own extras:
Best Buy, Target & Circuit City Transformers DVD Exclusives! - Superhero Hype!

I love the idea of the Target one, with the DVD case that transforms into Optimus Prime!

Those things that come with the Best Buy one just look awful. It's weird because Best Buy usually has some great extras.

Circuit City's is pretty lame in comparison. You'd think someone would have had a steelbook version.

I'm still mad about Paramount going HD-DVD exclusive. I really wanted this on Blu Ray.

Thats nice cause of how it's a back story just before they arrived on the earth. But it doesn't come with any special features like 'a making of featurette' I don't believe.

That one sounds attractive for sure.

I believe they will be sorry in the future for doing this. I feel certain that once the Blue rays get the last bugs out, they will start to kick ass.

As for me I dunno which I want to get. I really want to get this on hi def one day though. I'm kind of hesitating buying the ones loaded with special effects since they will look so much better in blu-ray or hi-def.

I'm Blu ray all the way. I love my PS3. I haven't heard of any problems with the blu ray discs. Target is going to be blu ray only soon so that's a good thing for them.

HD-DVD has had some major problems with their "combo discs" that have both the HD and standard versions of the movies.

I'd bet on blu ray winning out. HD has has had to resort to payoffs to get their exclusives.

Hey Ford, question for ya on your PS3 is it still backwards compatible with all the previous PS games? I've been thinking about stepping up but I can't decide which one to get.

It is for the PS2 I games. I'm not sure about the PS1 ones but I'd guess it pretty much has to be.

I had a PS2 and never really liked it. But I also had an Xbox and thought it was great. So when the Xbox 360 came out, I had to get it. I really liked it...until it died on me earlier this year. I literally just got it back from the repair center yesterday. They sent me a brand new one. But I won't ever buy another Microsoft system again, I just don't have faith in them. When the 360 broke I took all the games I had for it and traded them in towards the PS3. It's really the coolest game console ever. There aren't a ton of great games out for it, but the ability to play blu ray dvds makes it worth it. On an hdtv, it even makes the standard dvds look better. I'd recommend the PS3 to anyone looking for a game console or a blu ray player.
