WOW, that's pretty cool! How did you get those movies? The only silent film collection that I have is Charlie Chapplin (and it's not a movie anyway, it's series...).

I have surfed free movie sites and DL'ed.
A good one is Free Movies: Watch and Download Free Movies Online this is where I got "The Last Man On Earth" and "Night of the Living Dead"

I will be DLing "The Brain That Wouldn't Die" (1962), "The Wasp Woman" (1960) and "Nosferatu" (1922) very soon.
They also have Chaplin, Three Stooges and Laurel and Hardy films in comedy section.


Also, and I'm showing my age methinks ... "King Kong", "The Thing" are on VHS (and ancient technology whereby moving images and sound are recorded onto a tape medium)

The oldest movie i have is The Cocoanuts (1929) A Marx Brothers film i have in a collection i got for Xmas a few years ago. I also have King Kong and a ton of old Abbott and Costello movies.

Thanks for the references... I've been wondering where I can get more classic movies since some are not recorded in DVDs or VCDs.

The oldest film i own was released in 1953, it's called Trouble In Store and has the legendary Norman Wisdom starring in it!
