Fantastic Four

Ok, so I just got back from watching Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer. Well, it sure had a lot of hype for not being all that great. It was an entertaining movie, in that there was good special effects and I just like superhero movies. But overall it was not a good movie. What did you think?

This is kind of thing is the reason I started the site that is in my signature. Now if I could just get people to use it.

I thought it was a pretty decent movie. I probably had enjoyed as much as the first one. The comedy between the four is still the same, and however, i believe there were too many different stories. I know for a fact they had left it open for a third one, but somehow i think the third one is not going to be that great.

Yeah, I am well and truly with you. The effects were great and super hero movies are great but the Four 2 couldnt have been weaker on script. It all seemed like it was either trying too hard or not hard enough. I definately liked the first one better and the only thing better about the second is The Silver Surfer. He is a much better villain than Dr. Doom.

Special affects were actually very nice. But overall it has been considered as a not so interesting movie. The story lacked depth and there was not a lot of drama in it.
There were a few things in the movie that didn't make a lot of sense. Like for example, how convenient for the human torch to be able to switch powers/absorb other 4's powers and in the end returning to normal.
How easily did Silver Surfer destroy Galactus in the end, as if he was a shmuck and couldn't do anything about it. And surviving the great blast in the end. They didn't even show Galactus that clearly.
So anwyay, hope they do a better job next time.
