Question 28 weeks later - Great Sequel or not??

Hi to all. I am a newbie in this forum. I love talking about the movies (well really...!), especially the horror genre. Danny Boyle's '28 Days later' was absolutely fantastic, I've watched it so many times, I may actually know the script. I am yet to see the sequel '28 weeks later', though I have had a peek of the youtube trailer. It looks a cracker but is that a false perception? It seems a short movie at 99 minutes. Has anyone seen it, reviewed it, slated and hated it....whatever? Oh if like me you have not seen it yet, have a look at the trailer if you want, it looks amazing - .

It was great.. I am so glad to see a horror film with a plot and not just gore. Gore did play a big part, however, but it wasn't just gore for gore(most of the time). I plan on purchasing this one as soon as it comes out as I did 28 days later.

I think "28 Weeks Later" surpasses the original in some ways. Instead of dealing with less than five characters like they did on the first, they actually pulled off the whole mass hysteria horror. I didn't think it was possible because most movies that tried to pull that off ended up as a mess. I also liked the whole "resistance to the virus" thing. I loved the film so much that I decided that I'll buy the DVD once it comes out right after I stepped out of the cinema.
