I am legend wasn't great, but it wasn't as bad as a lot of people are saying, I never seen the alternate ending either

I'll be the second. I didn't really like this movie either in terms of it's quality in the storyline, but when it comes to personal entertainment it's high on my list.

I will admit that I Am Legend had potential, but it's execution wasn't so great in my opinion. The scene at the beginning boggles my mind. Nevelle's unnecessary method of hunting Deer in a high speed chase was strange, it shouldnt be hard to shoot down a deer in a city with plenty of hiding spots available for sniping. I also notice how irrational and dumb the Darkseekers behave (as Nevelle also stated), yet they are smart enough to construct a trap that Nevelle uses?

The CGI is also a bad thing, it's not very convincing to my eyes with those Darkseekers (including those lions) looking ridiculous running and jumping around, and the pointless conversation between Nevelle and Anna about a god in existence just doesnt fit in at all. Speaking of Anna, she was not interesting at all, her character wasnt even developed enough to even be cared about. To make this short, the movie just felt rushed to me, it's endings (including it's alternate counterpart) was very cliche.

I give you this though, I did enjoy watching the movie with a few friends drinking beer and eating pizza, it's action scenes are just fun to watch. Thats just my opinion.

i understand and i must agree bout the deer..honestly, i found it stupid..the only point that they really served was when sam chased them and blah blah blah you know what happens after that..
i found it interesting as well how they constructed the same trap and managed to move fred around..funny scene

nice opinion

Too critical but Ive been guilty of the same. Maybe I was so impressed with I Am Legend and Cloverfield because it wasnt the same old same old formula like weve been force fed for years.

Cloverfield was the first movie in years to actually scare me. The scene of the National Guardsmen trying to take down the monster was really intense.
