28 Days Later, what particular plot? No, it's the genre they're both virus based movie.

This movie was ridiculously good on so many levels. Smith was a tour de force on a part anyone couldve phoned in. Solid filmaking, and a strong ending for such hard fare. Best movie of its type since Dawn Of The Dead remake.

I saw the alternate ending, and though happier it came across as contrived. My own opinion of course, *SPOILERS* I loved that dog Sam, and didnt want him to die, and I KNEW he was gonna die! That was a good dog!

Point of interest - I like the simplicity in how they went from Smiths dream to reality. As soon as the impact of the scene hits us his eyes open ending the emmersion of the scene. Thats good craft in directing.
