I wanted it to have 8.2 but on IMDB it doesnt have .something so i gave it a 9 - to shoot it up from 7.2 to 8class if thats what u mean. or if u refering to me hehe

um also did anyone think it will be like war of the worlds. with aliens invading the world and the world coming to a chaotic end type of thing? cause the trailer is deceptive in my opinion and me and my sis both thought the same thing

Tiny. Have you ever heard of a book called 'The Last Canadian'?

I heard it's extremely similar to Last Man on Earth. Not sure when it came out but if earlier than them all, that could very well where all of these books and movies came technically speaking. I dunno though. I was thinking of that before though.

Yes, I have heard of it, Escape. I have never read it though. It's been compared to The Stand by King though. It is probably a good book. However, it came exactly 20 years after the original I Am Legend, which was published in 1954. To me, and this is just me, it is sad that the book I Am Legend's story and premise has been changed so much by this new movie. Trust me, I'm not a big fan of the first two "adaptations" either—for they do not follow it all that closely either—but at least they didn't use the same name, ya know? This newest version is probably the most muddled up of the three, yet they tag the original name to it. I've never seen it, but I don't have to. I have heard enough about it from people I know very well to understand that it doesn't even have the same meaning really of the book. It may be a decent movie and story (I doubt it though), but whatever it is, it is not I Am Legend. I don't know, I just find this to be a sad case of "what could've been."

I saw the movie on its second day of opening and I enjoyed it. It was a rollercoaster ride that kept you on your seat, and then it hit you with twists and turns. Will Smiths' performance was well done.

I missed this post.

Thanks Tiny. Nice to know the truth finally. The guy at work and I were wondering when exactly that book was made. It sounded like it could have made a decent film though.

love this movie a lot.. the story is good.. imagine living on a place alone and your only companion is your dog.. and then by the time goes by.. you need to kill your dog because your dog is also infected by the virus..
