I won't be adding a shoutbox becuase I find them very pointless and redundant on a forum I also think they serve no purpose other than taking up room

I'm using it on a test-case basis right now. If it doesn't not perform well I'll be removing it.

May I ask what resolution you're on and what browser you're using? Can you take a screenshot of how it loads?

How about some spoiler tags for movies when we reveal too much others would rather not see?

I'm using mozilla firefox and I'm not sure how to determine what my resolution is. Do I go into the monitor menu to find that or will that be in windows somewhere? Sorry I don't have a digital cam so I can't take a screenshot is there some other way to capture a screen shot?
All that's happening is that when you scroll down thru the posts is the sp. links doesn't move like the posts do, they sort of jump out of their little box and get a little blurry but if I stop scrolling then they go back to their place.

Powdered:

Ah, okay, I think I've seen that behavior on other sites before. So it only occurs when you scroll down the site, where the banner kind of "follows along" but as soon as you stop scrolling it stops and appears fine again?

May I ask what version of FireFox you're using? You can find this out by going to Help -> About Mozilla FireFox.

Yep that's all its doing this is the version I'm using:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7

Its not really a big deal it happens a lot on other sites I go to as well, it doesn't help that this puter is probably old enough to be some one's father either, it's about 15 years old! LOL!

Okay, you have the most up-to-date version of FireFox. It's what I'm running, too (but I don't get that issue).

The problem though is that I don't think this is just an isolated case with your computer, as Escape just mentioned above how he is getting the same problem...

Is anyone else experiencing any problems with it?

What's interesting is that it's just that little box, The one you have on the index page at the top right does it to only I don't really pay attention to it because the first thing I do is scroll down when the index pops up. Well hope I'm not giving you a headache!

Okay, so both do it then? The AdSense?

Hmm.. you may want to run a spyware tool such as AdAware to make sure you don't have spyware installed on your computer as that is often a behavior of spyware. Does this occur on other sites as well?

Yeah, I'm almost 100% certain that it's my puter's problem I've got several spyware programs and occasionally they delete themselves while scanning the other ones so its a constant battle. I might try AdAware again my Spybot got rid of it a couple of months ago and I didn't think to keep it because Spybot seemed to working pretty well.
