Default The Flight of The Mew Gull

Hi there from the UK.
Not a director but an actor with UK film and tv credits, as yet other than probably on cable I doubt that anyone will know of me in The States.

Couple of questions for you.

How does a movie about the most amazing solo aviation record on the planet sound?

A movie that involves a young man who took a tiny racing aeroplane from London to the Cape and back in less than four days. With it, he broke all records along the way in his single engined plane. Records that were previously held by two pilots flying together and in a twin engined high speed aircraft.

He flew across mountains, oceans, deserts, jungles through mile after mile of sea and swamp fog. He flew through torrential rain storms and electrical storms. He was entirely self funded. Flew in his carpet slippers and oh yes he had a serious attack of mlaria on the way home.

Does this sound like a recipe for a bloody good movie or not?

Oh yeh, one last Fact...yes this is all true....The record has stood from February 1939 to the present day
