Yeah, Sable would be good. I'm also inclined to want to see 'Swarm', but he may be too similar in concept to 'Sandman'.
A former Nazi geneticist, Fritz Von Meyer, hid in South America after World War II.
He became very interested in the breeding and keeping of bees. After a meteorite bombardment, with unconfirmed links to the same rays in the FF origin, he discovered a massive hive of mutated bees.
The bees that inhabited the hive demonstrated great intelligence. Von Meyer tried to manipulate the bees so that he may train them by using a psionic beam. As a result, the bees underwent even a greater mutation. The bees attacked him and consumed his body in which now only a skeleton exists covered by the bees that share his cociousness resulting in a living "Swarm"!
