I know Affleck wan't born there but raised in the Boston area. When I visited in '04, when Benifer was going on there was an article in one of the small Boston papers about how Affleck wasn't born there, so he's not really a Boston native and no one from Boston would propose to a Peurto Rican from the Bronx. Anyway Matt was born there so he probably had no problem with the accent--so was Mark Wahlberg. If you like the accents and Denis Leary, there's a little known movie called
Monument Ave. set in Southie. It makes the place look like a town full of criminals. lol. Not to my knowledge.
