Shaun Hutson
I am HUGE fan of his books, i have even seen him,
Some of his books are so gory they make me feel sick, he is the best horror writer and i think he is so underrated
it done all of these books and I got them all
here are some of his books
Assassin
London was in the grip of it's bloodiest bout of gang warfare for two years. Shootings in the street, kidnapping and car chases. Until now, Frank Harrison had ruled gangland but it looked as if that reign was going to end in blood. Someone was out to destroy him and his men. To wipe out everyone associated with him. But who? Harrison had to know, and into this world of violence, corruption, madness and death came the Assassin. A force more powerful than death, more lethal than a lorry full of high velocity weapons and more terrifying than any nightmare...
10/10 great book
Slugs
THEY SLIME, THEY OOZE, THEY KILL...
One female slug can lay one and a half million eggs a year - a fact which holds terrifying consequences for the people of Merton. As the town basks in the summer heat, a new breed of slug is growing and multiplying. In the waist-high grass, in the dank, dark cellars they are acquiring new tastes, new cravings. For blood. For flesh. Human flesh...
10/10 and you will never want to seen a slugs for next ten weeks
Breeding Ground
Deep in the dirty sewers of London there is a Breeding Ground.
The Slugs have come back... slowly... silently... they slither along dank, fetid tunnels into the city in search of human flesh. Their insatiable need knows no bounds.
But now they bring a new horror - a plague which spreads insanity and death, transforming its victims into grotesque, crazed killers.
Caught in the maelstrom of horror is Dr. Alan Finch - the only man capable of destroying the Breeding Ground forever
10/10 i love the bloodly end
Captives 9/10
'Two murderers commit motiveless crimes then burn themselves to death with one mile of each other in the space of a week. You're telling me there's no connection?'
But there is a connection - with practices so vile that not even the hardened, street-wise Detective Inspector Frank Gregson can imagine. And unless he can find some answers, London's streets will be streets no longer: they will be rivers gushing with deep, red blood...
The answers lie behind sealed doors of the hospital wing of Whitely Prison. Deep in the bowels of the building Dr. Robert Dexter is working at his own methods of solving prison overcrowding. Methods that link Whitely to London's brutal, seedy underworld of Soho sex-shows and drug barons. And methods that will turn ordinary men into raving psychopaths, screaming for vengeance, destruction and death...
Deathday 10/10
BEWARE THE GOLDEN DISK. IT BRINGS DECAY, DESTRUCTION, DEATH...
Four hundred years ago, a woman died in agony to keep it's secret and went to her grave with it hung around her neck. Now, in a desolate graveyard, a workman has unearthed the amulet by chance and decides to keep it. His first mistake...
That night the village of Medford is plunged into a nightmare of terror by the discovery of a double murder and mutilation - the first in a series of shocking killings. Wherever the amulet is found, ancient evil - hideous, powerful and vile - is once again reborn...
Beth Parker returned home one day to find a nightmare on her doorstep - in the form of her younger sister Lucy.
Lucy's Child 10/10 MUST READ (this book got me into reading, when i was 16, i never used to for about ten years, but i got hooked, i got hooked, i could not put this book down,, i reading on way to the bus stop, thanks god, i picked this books, i would have missed a lot great stuff).
After the mysterious fire that killed their parents five years earlier, Lucy had disappeared from Beth's life in a twilight world of drugs and violence. But now she was back, needing somewhere to stay. There is no love lost between the sisters and the tense atmosphere is strained further by the repeated references to Beth's inability to bear children. Lucy knows how much it hurts - but she likes to hurt people. Perhaps that's why she carries a knife.
But if Beth thought having Lucy to stay was a nightmare, having her gone was much, much worse. A tragic accident takes her away, but leaves a legacy behind. Lucy's child. And Beth's only chance at motherhood. But there are forces abroad that cannot permit what Beth sees as her right. Forces that will stop at nothing to prevent Beth from getting what she wants.
And she wants Lucy's child...
Purity 9/10 (If you like scream, you love this book)
Amy Watson hears the twisted morality of the masses every night on her London talk-radio show. Whenever their idle chat spills over into something more threatening, she flicks a switch and laughs: 'You're history.'
Two prostitutes, a pimp, a drug addict and a tramp, have all been identically strangled in the city, and the phone lines are buzzing, Just as it seems a morally righteous serial killer is cleaning up the streets, an arson attack at a Camden hospice takes eleven patients to their deaths earlier than expected, and every atrocity becomes united by a chilling bond. Someone out there is not only very sick. They are killing the sick.
Is the voice that warns Amy she is the next to die just another late-night loser? Why does she dread the man who has become her neighbour and, so easily, her lover? When Amy discovers she may have contracted breast cancer, her darkest fears are realised. She is now a target. She is no longer protected by a flicking switch. She's history... (i still can't believe who the killer was)
Necessary Evil 10/10 MUST READ
i was not looking forward to this one, the last two books before this (Hybrid & Hell to pay, were poor ) but Shuan Hustson went to old gory ways, this books is a masterpices.
It was to be a routine job. Matt Franklin and his companions would rob the Securicor van. Simple. Until the job turned into a nightmare. Two of his men are shot dead and another is fatally wounded. But who is trying to wipe them out, killing not just them but their families too? How are the Government and the British army implicated? What lurks within a secret research establishment in the English countryside? Franklin has to find out. Finally, the only one left alive, he tires of being the prey and decides to become the hunter.
His quest will bring him into conflict with forces he cannot begin to imagine or understand, but he is driven by a need for revenge that overrides his fear.
Aided by a desperate detective, Franklin becomes embroiled in a series of events that lead to a terrifying climax in the London Underground, where he comes face to face with the answers he has sought.
Like all of us, Franklin was told monsters don't exist. He's about to find out that someone was lying
Knife Edge 7/10 this is so diffrent of others books, there not gory at all , i love Shaun gory stuff, but i thought i would hate this book, Shaun Hustson it so good, it grab into books, i loved it.
'You know what bombs can do...'
When Sean Doyle receives his first message from Robert Neville, he has only seven hours in which to save London - and the Northern Ireland peace process - from disaster.
Neville is an explosives expert in the British Army, but peace in the Province has ripped a hole in his life. His demands are simple: to be re-united with his daughter, Lisa. His threats are terrifying: a series of bombs to be detonated in the centre of the capital every hour until he has the girl. Already responsible for a string of callous attacks on Irish public figures on both sides of the political divide, it's clear to all concerned that Neville is deadly serious. And Military Intelligence wants him stopped before the cease-fire is dealt a fatal blow.
As a member of the Counter Terrorist Unit, Doyle knows his own days are numbered by the cessation of The Troubles. He's close to understanding Neville's mind - closer, in fact, than it is safe to be. Doyle also knows he could be signing his death warrant if he observes orders, but whatever the fighting has taken from him - it has not destroyed his duty to fight terrorism. It's his job.
But this day's work has only just begun. Forced to toy with the life of an innocent girl and trust the words of a cold-hearted assassin, Doyle must find Neville before London is reduced to rubble - and before his own violent instincts propel him towards self-destruction
